Following a brief run back in April, the Map Making Mega Bundle has returned for a limited time available through early December. Hailed as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" developed by ProFantasy Software throughout their history, the entire collection is valued at more than thirteen hundred dollars. Additionally, there exist multiple package options available here.
The big draw is certainly permanent access for Campaign Cartographer 3+, a professional-grade cartography program which enables users to create everything from epic fantasy landscapes, smaller regional maps, city maps, and most notably, tactical combat environments.
An imaginative landscape chart created using the CC3+ software platform.
The cheapest bundle tier, at a minimum cost of $1, features merely four from the thirty-nine available products: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Monster Token Pack 1, Source Maps: Castles!, Urban Source Maps. This package suits cartographers who already have CC3+, yet it provides new fantasy symbol styles for overworld maps, more than 750 monster tokens compatible with online gaming platforms, more than two dozen aerial castle designs with 470 associated map tokens, eight fully mapped cities, plus seventy-plus building interiors.
The eight-product collection for at least $15 offers enhanced value by adding in a lifetime CC3+ license, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. The Annual represents the annual collection from ProFantasy's ongoing subscription program featuring multiple CC3+ enhancements including map packs and additional utilities. The Isometric Cities enables present urban areas in 3D perspective using angled views from all sides. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping comprises 760 pages suitable for novices and experts, packed with guidance and instructions covering cartography techniques.
Starting at thirty dollars, the comprehensive package includes all the following:
Every volume of Cartographer's Annual are included here, plus numerous other resource and asset packs that can help users craft complete solar systems, or just go all-in on traditional fantasy world-building: battle maps, dungeons, cities, and continents from almost any perspective. Users can also create character illustrations. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the full bundle is so worth it, especially for cartographers with temporary CC3+ access and want to upgrade to lifetime. But it's obviously more advantageous for map-making newbies since it includes the beginners' tutorials to facilitate learning. The sole limitation though you can redeem the deal across platforms, the applications only function with Windows systems.
Similar to previous bundles, a portion of each sale supports charitable organizations. For this one, the beneficiary is Save the Children, established in 1919 by Eglantyne Jebb focused on improving the lives of children worldwide through education, health care, and emergency relief. Package customization options appear near the page top, but you can also select any amount for a donation in the right-hand section. There's also an "Adjust Donation" drop-down just below that, allowing you to adjust the distribution percentage allocated between the platform, developer, and charity.
